4 blessings in disguise that Covid-19 has brought in our lives

COVID 19 has made the world standstill. Travel has been impacted like never before. The economy has crashed like never before and people have even lost their jobs. The impact of the pandemic is felt by everyone right from a street-side vendor to the rich businessman.
People are not expected to leave homes for months altogether. We all are working from home and while it has spiraled our economy down and took a death toll on us, there are several positive aspects that surfaced too.
2020 is not our year, it goes without saying but fortunately or unfortunately – this year gave us some blessings to. In the middle of all the negativity, here we are showing the silver line to those who are safe and secured in their own homes.
- The lesson of gratefulness: In our lives, we have been constantly complaining about one thing or the other but like the rest of the world in combating this issue, a lot of us need to be grateful for being able to afford a place to sleep and food to eat. These simple things of life are often underestimated but the situation today has shown us otherwise. Your aspirations can wait but this very moment is what you should be thankful for.
- Paused for a while: We have been running in our lives letting go of the things that make us happy. We got so drowned in our work that we spared time for anything. As the virus knocked on our door, we were asked to stay indoors and finally, we had plenty of time to relax, watch our shows and spend time doing what we love. A lot of people reconnected with their families and discovered new interests.
- The environment could breathe: With the whole pause thing, for the first time ever the environment was conserved. There were so many cities that reported a drop in air pollution. Moreover, so many videos surfaced where animals were on streets living the fearless time of their life without any human intervention.
- Priorities changed: We have always valued future and planning corresponding to it little realizing that we are not living the present. But, this pandemic showed us to think about the very moment we are in and nothing beyond that. Our priorities changed from working hard to relaxing when you feel life because come on, no one knows what tomorrow shall bring in.
We nowhere demean the fact that so many people across the globe fell prey to the pandemic but our only attempt is to tell you all that if you are safe, sound and healthy, be grateful for it and make the most of the time that you are rewarded with.
